My personal road to a healthy self improvement -the healthy lifestyle high-way

I have now been working my way to a healthy lifestyle.
This thought suddenly dawned to me when I had a talk with one of my friends.
He said he was uncomfortable with his body.
I was shocked to know this because it was also the same with me!
Nevertheless, I made it to a point to advice him that you need to feel good to look good.
But still I thought how could you feel good?

1. Eat healthy-I suddenly realized that I feel lighter when I had an accidental diet shift when I came here in Columbia. I am now voraciously eating vegetables and fruits! I have also started snacking on tomatoes, baby spinach, and celery sticks when I have the wanna-eat-snacks urges  They are all raw mind you :)/ But the next question is, I hope I could continue this healthy eating when I go back to the Philippines with the high price vegetables and fruits :(

2. Think healthy - This is very challenging for me since I have a temper and a natural worrywart. But dude, its all in the mind. I have started to have this outlook that after you're like totally raped by uncanny and annoying issues, just lie down and rest. Go somewhere for short while or even the whole day if it really bugging you. You can't do anything with a nicked spirit!

3. Exercise- this my sound totally cliche but I do think the endorphin are really making the comeback especially even after a short work-out. And I admitted that I can't do this alone. I need some help with m friends, so I enlisted one of my gym buff colleague. When I go back to IRRI, I will hit the gym with the guy.
Also I take the stairs  when  I move around the buildings and brisk walking to go to my plots. It's really good.

3. Smile - lastly this is a good arsenal for your health and also for the girls (or even boys). A good smile always brighten your face (plus a little concealer and lip balm-hey, you need all the touch up you can get also add some more toothpaste for brushing :)). Also it gives a good vibe for the people around you. Think of it as a win-win situation. Even though you have problems, don't forget to smile dear because are plenty of things you need to be happy about!

Well, cheers to our road t self improvement!
